This notice explains the information used by Speedy’s current browsing, reservation and address-checking features.
AI support conversations
When you use our AI support chat, your messages and the assistant’s replies are stored by Speedy and are visible to authorised store administrators. Your message and recent conversation context are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. Do not include passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information. The assistant is automated and can make mistakes.
Cart and reservation information
An essential cookie named speedy_eur_cart assigns your browser a random cart identifier. The server uses that identifier to retrieve the product, auction, reserved price and expiry time. The cookie has a 30-day lifetime; the reservation itself lasts ten minutes. The cookie does not contain your name or payment details.
Browser storage and page preferences
A cart-change timestamp in local storage signals other open tabs to refresh their cart. This keeps the timer and contents consistent. Clearing cookies or storage can disconnect your browser from its existing reservation.
Information entered at checkout
Checkout collects your name, email and shipping address. When you start a payment, these details and the reserved item and amount are saved with the payment record on our server. Card or bank details are entered on the payment provider’s page, not stored by this website.
Address validation
Postal-code formats and required address fields are checked for the selected country. This checks formatting, not the existence or deliverability of an address.
Technical information
Requests to the website necessarily include technical connection information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Operational logs may record errors and request details used to diagnose faults. The current site does not include an advertising pixel or a marketing analytics integration.
How information is used
Reservation information supports cart continuity, price locking and expiry. Postal lookup information supports address validation. Technical information supports delivery of pages, troubleshooting and protection against abusive requests.
Retention and your choices
Expired reservations are removed during server maintenance of the cart. Browser cookies expire or can be deleted in browser settings. You can clear local storage, remove a reservation and close the checkout without completing a purchase. Clearing browser data does not itself erase server logs.
Access, correction and deletion
Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and the service involved. Before public ordering opens, the operator’s identity, a working privacy contact and a process for requests will be supplied. No separate privacy email address is claimed here until that contact exists.
Changes to the service
This notice must be updated when payment processing, shipping integrations, support tools or analytics are introduced. Their providers, data use and retention arrangements will be described before those features collect information.
